I want to put my (old) citroen ZX through an automatic car wash but I am not exactly sure what to do with the aerial, do I just lower it flat or can I unscrew it, can anyone give me some (polite) suggestions please?

Ariels normally unscrew.

I wouldn't recommend lying it flat as the brushes do a reverse sweep and may damage the ariel.
