Oh, there you are naomi! I'm sure I posted a note to you somewhere else, but couldn't find it, silly me. Thank you for asking and thank you for your good wishes, especially at Christmas. I know I didn't see them but it means a lot to know you were thinking of me.

It's just 3 years now and the worst part of the year has gone - Christmas,the anniversary (Jan) and our birthdays (Jan & Feb), so I'm picking up now.

Honestly naomi, I've gone from never even writing a cheque to organizing, builders, house repairs and all the finance. It really is amazing what you can do when you have to. The first year I was in total shock and lost 2 stone in a month, but am back enjoying everything now.

Now, how are you. What's been happening on AB - and where is Robinia, woofgang etc. Have they all gone?

Cetti, hello, no all us oldies are still around :-) I am delighted to see you back and hope that you will stay around. I do understand where you have been as I made the same journey myself. You answered my very first question on AB...too many years ago to admit too!!

I know it's 3 years January - I remember it vividly - but I'm so pleased you're picking up. It can't have been easy for you.

Some of the 'oldies' are still posting, but sadly not all. I lose track of when exactly people were here, and I'm not sure who you might remember, but let me know and I'll tell you if they're still around.

Oh, by the way - may I introduce you to Boxtops^^ - fondly known as Boxy. Boxy - Cetti.

Hi Cetti...woofy pointed us in the direction of this post, it's lovely to see you back! Is it really three years? Hope you're well, yes it is amazing what you can do when you have to, I don't know where the strength comes from sometimes.

Dogs are fine Cetti, big boys now, 4 and a half...they still think they are puppies but happily the chewing and trashing has (mostly Ha!) stopped.

Hello QM, How kind to have remembered me and thank you for your welcome - and yes, I can surely cope with just about anything now.. so good to be back with my chums (love that word!)again.
LoftyLottie - just remembering all the fun we had and looking forward to much more of the same.
Robinia - So many times I would have liked to get in touch with you, but guess what, I had my computer re- whatever it is - and your email was wiped, never to be seen again, but I am so happy to be with you. Still not totally ok, a few 'wobbles' now and then, but looking forward to the 'birdy' season and hopefully hearing more about your lovely reedies.

Brendan and tenrec, so pleased to meet you. Can you see why I had to come back to AB with all these lovely friends. You're right, it is like coming home. Thank you all again. XXXXXX
