JF Kennedy comes to mind. Wife Jackie and son John could be the two J's but 'I can see' and 'can see me' have me stuck.

Or 'I can see 2Js who are important to me' could just mean in his mind, rather than in reality, he has 2 Js - Jackie and John Junior. In reality only 1 could see him in the car - Jackie.

Well, the answer has been announced as Car. The reason? The deceased is Marty Hopkirk (TV fiction) who was run-over by a car. The two J's he can see are his mate Jeff and widow Jeannie. But only Jeff can see Marty. I did get the right answer, but for all the wrong reasons.
