Sisters of Mercy?

This song is from late 80's early 90's, sounds a lot like Sisters of Mercy, but i don't think it is. Chorus goes something like this "DON'T RUN RABBIT RUN DON'T RUN RUN RUN, DON'T RUN FROM MY FATHER WITH HIS BRAND NEW GUN", any ideas who it could be?

It does sound like the sort of thing the Sisters might cover - they've done 'He's got the whole world in his hands' and 'Jolene' among other things, but I've not heard their version if it was them.
