I believe her father died I think and she has been off because of that. I can't remember where I read that though!

She is extremely upset after her father's death and keeps breaking down, so Eamonn said it would be best for her to have some time off until after the funeral next week as he didn't want her to be embarrassed if she cried on air during a more sensitive story. I read this in DM.
