On Robot Wars, is the voice that says 'Roboteers, stand by' that of Jeremy Clarkson? I seem to remember he was involved in the first series.

The first time I saw the programme I thought the voice was saying, "Robot Ears - stand by".

Does sound like Jerry Clarkson or maybe it's the usual commentator putting on a silly voice...
