Boundary fence maintenance
The boundary fence owned by my neighbour was blown down by high winds recently. This fence was supporting my backyard as it is some 0.5m higher then my neighbour's. The neighbour is asking me to support my backyard before he puts erects the fence.
Can you please advise whether I should support my land or should the neighbour support it with his fence ?

the extra weight of your land may actually have contributed to the fact that it fell down, so be glad he is not blaming your land.
i don't understand how it can be ''his'' fence either, surely if your land 'needs' a fence to keep it in place, the fence may be your responsibilty!
the way it faces is irrelevant - your deeds will show who is responsible for the fence.
