Yes there is a way but cant think how it was done, i saw it in a friends car a few years ago, he had teh phone in a phone dock that plugged into the 12v socket and then a wire going somewhere.
I just have the square plug that you plug into the laptop to upload the music that's all. Thanks DC it looks like I need something like that from your link. I suppose I could ask at the carphone warehouse or similar.
Lol Mrs O the radiogram was a bit bulky to take with us everywhere. I had a Walkman for ages then ditched it. Mr Ask isn't really bothered but I like to listen to it when ironing and thought I could use it in the car (got a new Jazz).
My car stereo has a 1.5mm stereo jack input. I just have a 1.5mm to 1.5mm stereo lead. Pug one end into the headphone socket of the Ipod and the other end into your radio,
If your radio hasn't got an input you can get little FM transmitters to plug into the Ipod and tune the radio to receive it.
There's a test on some here: http://www.techradar....pod-5-on-test-1035323
It has Zacs but the connection from my iPod is a flat small rectangular shape that doesn't fit in the jack plug in the car. I hoped someone might know what type of connection I need to ask for.
Thanks Graham for your explanation I have a docking station on my radio at home, I was thinking of something like that, I'm not technically minded at all as you can tell.
