80th birthday ideas
7 Answers
It's my god mothers 80th, and I am looking for present ideas. Although close when I was young, I only see her about once a year now so I don't know about any hobbies which she has although she is still independent and totally 'with it' - and also married so I could get a gift to be shared.
I had thought of a paid day out at the races, and also of a newspaper on the date of her birthday but the problem with the latter is that she was born in Canada and as yet I haven't been able to track any Canadian newspapers which offer this.
If anyone has any ideas, it would be much appreciated.

She adores it! I used a local company (Southport) who only charged around £40 for it, but I believe notonthehighstreet.com do something similar, amongst others. Would arranging for something similar to be made using your own fingerprint be too sentimental? I also bought a keyring version for my husband and a Pandora charm for my Mum.

How about a nice bird feeder station, something like this

you can add all the accessories plus bird food, and maybe even a garden bird book.
