Hi, I recently bought two cheap DVD players, a Sanyo and a Philips. Yesterday I played "Meet the Fockers" in the Sanyo player and halfway through it froze for a few minutes, then started jumping a few frames at a time through the rest of the film. I played the dvd on the philips machine and it played perfectly. This morning I put the dvd back in the Sanyo player and this time it played perfectly. So now I'm confused. Do I have a DVD player with an intermittent fault or does the fault perhaps lie in the rented DVD disc. I'd appreciate any views!

Sorry, meant to post this in int & tech. but maybe someone here may have an answer.

I find that it is usually the fault of the dvd. Try cleaning each one prior to playing them and see if that makes a difference.
