I watched the last series of The Dales( ITV on Monday evenings)and found it to be entertaining, with some fascinating and interesting characters. The second episode of the new series was on this evening, and already I think they are focussing on one particular subject (singers) far too much. Do we really need to have almost half the programme taken up with just one topic, considering that they were also on last week's programme as well? Are we to have a more varied mix in the weeks to come I wonder?
I thought so too jamesnan, I would have liked to have seen more of the wonderful Ribblehead viaduct and the steam trains. Also more of the beautiful scenery around the villages with their rivers and waterfalls. 5 minutes of the choir would have been enough, its a good programme and I like Adrian as the presenter.
I recorded and haven't watched it yet. but I agree. I got bored with the 5 minutes of the choir last week. I like the lad who lost his dad and Clive with all the kids!
