I love looking at maps and reading dictionary's.

I have Oxford, Chambers, Collins plus several more.

Maps, I have old maps and modern maps and I love studying them.

A good night's sleep.
I am fascinated by anything to do with the history of my home city (York). Not just ancient, or medieval history, but changes within the last 100 years. I love the little books which our local newspaper produced, which have peoples' personal memories and photos in, as they really bring the city to life.
For the record, I was NOT correcting anybody's spelling. I was merely replying to the OP.

How, in everybody's estimation, ought I to have phrased my post? Should I have repeated the incorrect spelling, as in "I love dictionary's too."?

Doubtless that would have provoked an even stronger diatribe!
Perhaps micmak should have looked up in the dictionary how to spell it :>)
Books, books and more books. Dictionaries, Reference Books etc. Also like looking at old maps and street directories of my city; like an occasional trip down memory lane. Love old newspaper advertisements - things no longer produced, firms no longer in existence and prices that nowadays seem laughable but were once outwith my budget range.
Are you correcting micmak's spelling?
I realised I was getting old when one of the "History of York" books mentioned one of my old boyfriends :-(
