I've noticed this slogan used alot recently, signs at work, on coffee cups etc. You know the one I mean, it has a crown above the slogan, pretty much like the UK treasury one.

Who has popularised its usage?

having a quick search on amazon the official one is 'keep calm and carry on' looks like some governmental poster from ww2.

Just wonder why and how its been popularised recently.

lol thanks JTH - just read your answer after submitting my last.
There was a woman on Antiques Roadshow a few weeks ago who had about 25 originals of this poster. Because they were used only for a short time then discarded, hers are worth a lot of money.
The way things are going those posters will be making a comeback. Anyone ready to 'dig for victory'?
