Just saw this on Sky Sports News, from the Belgian lower leagues.

Guy in Blue goes up for a header, inside the box. Gets elbowed in the neck and in unconscious when he hits the ground. Ref thinks he's taken a dive and gives him a second yellow card and then issued the red. The guy had THREE displaced vertebrae in his neck!!!!!

It would be funny if it wasn't so serious and the reaction of the ambulanceman says it all.

What is even more laughable is that players like Gareth Bale and Luis Suarez etc take a dive after the slightest contact and never pick up a yellow card.

Hope his Club appeal to Belgian FA and the Player has his Red Card rescinded.
There are divers in Football but this was a genuine injury !!! duh
