Potentially Unprotected Windows XP have you seen this before

This evening an Icon appeared in the lower tray which is in the shape of a small house 1/2 light orange 1/2 dark orange with a white exclamation mark through the middle ,I have not seen this before have you by any chance ,
It says amongst many other things the computer is potentially unprotected. I would be very grateful for any guidance with this matter
