My baby pulls at her ear!

I have a 10 month old baby who has had 3 ear infections so far... well we got rid of her last one like 3 months ago but for the past month she has been pulling at her ear.. i took her to the doctor like 3 weeks ago and the doctor said her ears were fine and it may be because she is teething.. which she has her top teeth coming in.. but she always wakes up in the middle of the night screaming and thats what she did when she had her ear infections.. she acts fine throughout the day but she is always pulling at her right ear.. im worried she has a ear infection... has anyone else had a baby pull at their ears while teething?

It is very common yes, as long has the Doctor has ruled out infection , just try to settle her as regards the teething issues. It does pass eventually.

My son use to do this when he was tierd and now my grandaughter does exactly the same thing but thinking about it it was during the time he was teething and my grandaughter is also now teething

The ear drum in a baby is notoriously difficult to see even by an experienced otologist. You baby has had 3 ear infections already and certainly "pulling on her ear" as well as crying and temperature may indicate another infection.

Understood, still would follow your thinking rather my pure anecdotal experience, I was thinking that as she is fine in the day when distracted may be more likely teeth.

Thanks everyone... I'm a new mom and everything freaks me out when it comes to my little one.. She is not running a temp. though.. she just pulls at her ear and at night she will wake up screaming but throughout the day she acts fine..
