Printing envelopes, oh why won't it work?

I am trying to print onto envelopes on my Dell 5100cn printer. No matter how hard I try, it just doesn't seem to work. I make sure i set it Manual feed, it just won't pick up the envelope and print on it. Does anyone know how I can solve this? I tried ringing Dell and they were less than helpful... The same is true for labels...

How are you putting the envelope in the printer, sometimes when you put it in sideways the printer cant pick it up. If you are sliding it in the right way, you may want to try this. Instead of printing out on envelope, try marking a sheet of paper, maybe with an arrow and try and determine where the printer prints the writing, you may have a certain place (which may not be clearly show) to put the envelope
