Fiesta 2003 - AVC automatic volume control

Does anyone know how to turn off the AVC in a diesel 2003 fiesta zetec

I have tried various logical things, but nothing seems to work

thank you Hopkirk, unfortunately that is a later model fiesta, mine is more basic, and does not have a menu button.

I`m beginning to think a hammer is the solution :>)

FINALLY SOLVED

suddenly dawned on me that the `M` on the radio was not only for manual but menu as well DOH !!
