Not so much to supplement income but because I`m a restless fidget Tink. My husband was ill for a very long time so I had to give up a job I loved to be at home more. I took a course in Swedish massage, found I was good at it and set up at home. It built up very well and the extra money was useful, but meeting new people and doing something interesting was fun.

I did it because I like to try new things and knew I could`t just be at home after an interesting job. It`s been one of the best things ever. I have a room I think you`d love. Low lights, soft music and candles. [down mike!] I do a firm but relaxing massage and word of mouth brought more clients than I had time for. I knew I had very strong hands and this was confirmed when I was doing a back massage on a very athletic [and dishy] guy. "Wow," he said. "I bet you don`t have trouble getting the lid off a pickle jar." Learn Tinks. You won`t regret it.
Drawing pen and inks, mainly of old buildings such as pubs and hotels, then turned into postcards and prints - and I get to hang onto the originals.
This week have just got 2 new commissions (one pub and one glorious old village church) , sold 3 prints and entered a competition known as "My Truro" for the end of April.....
