I'm almost certain it was one of those packets in a box type thing. The very fact my mum bought it and made it strongly suggests there wasn't much skill involved in it!

I vaguely recall some kind of sponge mix, and gooey sauce which you poured on the top, bunged in the oven and the sauce would sink to the bottom and make an upside down sponge with sauce pudding. Or was it the only way round? You put sauce in first then sponge mix?

Anyhoo, considering my vagueness it's hardly surprising that I can't find it on Google is it?

Anyone else remember it?

think you can still get those Dicky.
giveup,

Instant soups came out swiftly followed by the infamous Pot Noodle, and then the Pot Sweet. Just boil the kettle and you had a 3 course meal. As I said, they were very short-lived mostly because they were horrible!!
Start my job on the 31st, ta for asking
My mother once tried to steam a Heinz tinned spong treacle pudding and she forgot to pierce the tin and it exploded on the ceiling! My Father took great delight in telling and showing everyone that came to the house!
