I have water dripping out the bottom of my boiler where some condensation thing is and I don't know how to stop it!! Also, when I turn it on its fine but if I switch the heating on or run the hot water it trips out the electric! Any ideas??
Urm yeah I think so :-/ there's not a problem when I turn it on by the switch but its when I try to get it to actually light. My gas ran out the other day and I couldn't get more for 5 days so I don't know if that's anything to do with it?
No, that shouldn't affect it. Just coincidental.
Look for some little screws top or bottom of the front cover, then remove it for a better look. You may decide to turn off the water supply to the boiler to stop the flow.
If you have the installation instructions for the boiler, there should be a pic showing the various connections. One will be a 15mm pipe supplying the cold water. That should have a tap on it, or possibly a slot for a screwdriver which should be turned through 90 degrees.
You may even be lucky and have a turning off valve on the pipe just below the boiler somewhere.
Maybe the water pressure is too high and causing over heating if it is... a combi.. and the best way (making sure loop is off) is running hot water through a tap... for now to release the pressure. electrics should be ok unleess you've had a dodgy fitter.
