Network (?) key
Windows Visa, BT Home Hub 2.0 I can`t remember the password to allow someone else to access my home wifi signal. A friend originally set up my laptop and he must have asked me for a password and I probably just said something off the top of my head. I now want to link a smartphone to the network and I can`t remember the access key. Is there any way to retrieve it? Or reset it?

One is the network name (which I know) and the other is Wireless key (WPA). I presume that`s it? I seem to remember being asked for a password but I might be wrong. I know I have him a name to call the PC but maybe he just used the default wireless key. Then again, maybe he set it to something else. There is also an Admin password and a Wireless PIN on the back.
IF he has changed the key from the default one then you should be able to see what it is set too by clicking below
http://192.168.1.254
and then logging in to the hubs admin pages with the details on the hub (assuming they've not been changed) then find the wireless security settings and you should be able to see the key.
If the admin password has been reset then your only option is to reset the hub back to default and set it all up again.
