On fruitsalads thread about covering veins, someone mentioned witch hazel, has anyone used this successfully on spider/thread veins? Think I might pop in the chemist to get some and give it a whirl.

No evidence for it improving them but it is good for cooling down any itching and irritation if you get it
My last girlfriend (hate the term ex) used it on her face and on her legs, it seemed to be OK.

I was the one on the thread.
Ive only ever used it for bruises and it seemed to help

Ah, it was you cockney. I've been googling about but you'll always find want you want to hear on the internet won't you, mind, for the sake of a coupe of quid I might just give it a go as I can't afford that sclerotherapy thingy.
