hard jam

i bought some greengage jam from a charity stall at the weekend, but when i opened it this morning i had to cut slices of it out of the jar, and it would not spread, what can i do with it please? its my favourite jam and i've got three jars.

heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds, it will soften up :)

thanks for that, i thought it would just turn to glue but tried it this morning and it was ok.
