Apart from Superdrug who give 5% discount does anyone know of any other discount places for stamps. It's going to cost a fortune with all the crosswords I do.

Go out and buy a few books of stamps now before they go up in April.

Or wait till Xmas when they will be reduced.

Jem by Christmas they will have gone up by 53%, I am aiming to buy quite a few before April 1st.
Caran, It did state in the paper I was reading that at Xmas they are doing a special concession on Xmas stamps.
I think it will hit card shops really hard. I will be sending e cards this year.

Royal Mail used to do a discount for bulk buys of stamps which you designed and printed to envelopes yourself (You could include a photo if you wanted/avatar). The snag was you had to pay in advance and your subscription only lasted a month before it had to be renewed and paid for again... Ok if you send letters for all the stamps you purchased but it didn't work out for me so didn't use it.. Worth having a look at their site, I havent been back there for years and they may have changed policy.
If you do a lot of posting you can buy a franking machine, many small businesses do it gives a 10% discount on stamped price mail.
Don't know if you are a member of Costco, but they sell stamps, in fact I was there today and there was a bit of panic buying going on (seems to have been the day for it!). They are about 3-4p a stamp cheaper than Post Office. Admittedly you do have to buy packs of 5 books of 12 stamps, and not everyone can afford that cost outright.
