Orange network

Does anyone know if there's a problem with Orange at the moment? I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace and have been trying to set up a googlemail account in order to download a free app. It tells me that I'm not connected to wifi, but I am; when I tap on my home hub reference, it comes up first 'authenticated, saved', then immediately with 'disconnected'. No problems with text messaging, but no internet connection on the phone. Would be grateful for advice.

Orange ok for me at moment, BT email & Gmail accounts OK (iphone)

Thanks Baldric. Having established that there's no problem with the wifi I phoned Orange who suggested removing the phone battery then putting it back in. In the meantime I've disabled the wifi on the phone and am using 3G instead. have set up googlemail account but still can't download the app as my device isn't recognised - no idea why not. Never mind, I can manage without the app.
