Why Cant they get it right

I know Im sad but..........
I love watching Dr Quinn, Medicine woman, usually whilst Im on here like now. But yesterdays prgramme, they were sat under a full moon, the following day another full moon and for some reason or other, someone mentioned it was going to be a full moon on Saturday. You cannot have a full moon everyday. Why dont the script writers check facts and get the programme perhaps watched by normal folk before it goes out. These incorrect details have happened so often on various programmes, even ones voted` best programme`

the usual classification of moons is first quarter, full, last quarter, new moon (at least it used to be on my calendars). On that basis a moon is full for a week in every month.
