Don't know how badly this affects UK customers but it is classed as a 'major security breach'.

Check your accounts folks, just in case.

This seems odd.
It says 10 million accounts may be affected, then it says "Gartner analyst Avivah Litan said she believed the breach was related to a taxi garage in New York City". This garage must have a lot of customers!

Only applies to people who have paid a cab fair in New York recently.

I thought that too factor30 but I'm guessing they've somehow hacked into the system via the garage and it's possibly gone nationwide (US) and possibly global.

Worth monitoring, just in case.
