What an unusual story Murraymints. A day to remember forever.

We went to visit a friend who was temporarily living in a swanky London flat that had its own interior lift between floors. Got stuck between floors so had to wait for fire brigade to get us out. In that wait found that my husband has claustraphobia and he was in a dreadful state.

I was in my shed and put my hand in a drawer to get a screwdriver and the drawer was jammed so wiggled it about a bit and got my hand stuck in there too! Luckily I was rescued in about 10 minutes!

I used to always get my arm stuck in things. Chairs, fences, safety gates.... At least they were all wooden!

7 months pregnant, after midnight, stuck in the Ladies' loo in a German airport, en route for South Africa. Minimal lighting. Funny in recollection, not at the time.

When I was a raw copper in the early 60's I had to escort an electrician to the cells to fix a faulty alarm bell in one of them. he had left a bit of kit in his van and went to get it, shutting the door behind him locking me in with the keys.
Two hours later he returned, he;d had his lunch while away, but couldn't get in as I had the only set of keys.
Three hours later I was released from my incarceration swearing never - never to be a bad boy and be locked up for real... I've managed to keep that promise, well partly, just never been caught !!!!! (Joking)
