I am trying to find out about a contemporary Glasgow/Scottish artist who paints about the lives of people living in the tenements in Glasgow he is Thomas McGoran and I have seen his original work in the People's Palace in Glasgow, a log trek through the web has been unsuccessful, help!!!!

Hi Mogsy, Just happened to see that you were looking for info on Thomas Mcgoran.He is my dads uncle and he has pictures in glasgows oldest house as well as the peoples palace he doesn't paint so much these days but he used to do paintings to order.if you would like any more info don't hesitate to contact me.

Hi berylsmom, I have also tried to trace details of Thomas McGoran with no success. I am a student primary teacher and was looking for some information relating to Thomas' life i.e. place of birth, where he grew up, what school he attended etc which would help me to provided some background to accompany his painting which the children have viewed at People's Palace, Provand's Lordship and St Mungo museum of religious life and art. Any information would be a great help. Thanks
