Or a company and someone purchased something from you then two weeks later you dropped the price 50 quid in a sale, if they asked you for a credit would you give them one? Particularly if the item was still unopened so the customer could just return it for a refund (as part of your no quibble returns policy) and buy it back cheaper.

Dotty, I do understand the basics of business thanks.

None the less, I'm not ordering them to give me a refund, simply asking if it's possible. If they are dumb enough to refund every single person that amount and they go out of business then that's their problem, not mine. If they don't want to refund me then they won't but that's not going to stop me asking and I certainly won't feel guilty about it.
