Help please. I'm printing off some thank you cards for a friend that I can't make contact with for a couple of days.

On the cards, the followings words have to be included:

'A Mass will be said for ........................'

I think Mass should be written with a capital 'M', but I need to be 100% sure.

Thanks for any help.

Thank you Ron - why didn't I check Wikipedia - doh!
Chambers gives it as either way.

mass2 or Mass noun 1 Christianity in the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Churches: a the Eucharist, a celebration of the Last Supper; b the ceremony in which this occurs. See also High Mass, Low Mass. Compare (in Protestant churches) Communion, Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper. 2 a part of the text of the Roman Catholic liturgy set to music and sung by a choir or congregation • a requiem mass.
ETYMOLOGY: Anglo-Saxon mæsse.
Just curious, but why do you need the 'a' ? : " Mass will be said for.." I am sure I have seen that in formal invitations of this type.

I'm just following orders Fred - This is how they wanted the card set out.
