He ties the dog up outside and it is slathering in anticipation when he comes back out. He then makes a great display of giving the chocolate to the dog.

Three years ago, whilst we were out, my German Shepherd ate a whole bar of Green and Blacks 70% Cocoa chocolate which I had left on the coffee table. We came home to find her looking wretched and her temperature was sky high. I immediately rang the vets who said bring her in at once, which we did. They gave her an emetic to make her sick and an injection of steroids and we had to leave her in overnight. She came home with an enourmouse bag of charcoal powder which we had to put all over her food. She was o.k. eventually. That taught me a lesson. It was a very expensive bar of chocolate.
