Has anyone suffered with this? It is lasting for ages. The Doctor prescribed Naproxen, but no difference, just bloating, nausea and constipation.
I think I would rather have the pain in my foot.
hi lid, you say "i would rather have the pain in my foot" which indicates you DON'T have the pain in your foot anymore, but you also say the naproxen has made no difference so i'm confused.
Anyway, how long have you been taking the naproxen? if it's a good while then go back to the GP and get another NSAID - i have had many over the years and found Naproxen didnt work at all for me
Google "Morton's neuroma". My doc recommended surgery but it meant weeks on crutches so I said no...but then I don't have any adverse reaction to Naproxen, and for me it does help.
Thanks for your reply Squad. The first time I went to doctors, a few months ago, he prescribed 'Phorpain' gel. After a while it eased. However, the pain returned, which is constant, like a dull ache, across the widest part of the top of my foot, near toes. Walking doesn't make it worse, even lying in bed my foot hurts. The doctor mentioned tendons and I am afraid I just called it tendonitis, doesn't that word exist?
