Most are in my neck of the woods. Some, however, are opening an hour or so later and closing an hour earlier. Supermarkets are open as normal.
Some of the supermarkets, eg Morrisons, are closed.

thank you for answering
ALL large stores in England are required to be closed all day - including most Garden Centres - it's the law.

Smaller 'convenience' stores can open as usual.
Tescos are closed in most areas.
It seems that Tesco are closed today in most places.
Asda at Hollingbury, Brighton are closed on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day
M&S are closed, some of their food outlets appear open.
a lot of larger shops have a store locator on their website which will tell you the opening hours for today e.g. here is Tesco http://www.tesco.com/storelocator/
As has already been said , the LAW states that large stores CAN NOT OPEN on Easter Sunday. It is the last remaining part of the old Sunday trading laws.
So no large shops will be open , they are not allowed to by law not by choice.
Small 'corner' shops and 'convenience stores' will be open, supermarket petrol stations will also be open as normal.
