web cams for macs

Hi are most web cams suitable for macs. I am lookign at the cerative notebook web cam in particular. There does not seme to say anthing aout been mac compatible, but then most do not seem to say they are.

yea, most will work.

or you could check out apple's own iSight; most expensive than most, but great quality.

I'm sorry but many (most?) will NOT work with the Mac, so be careful. Check Logitech's web site for which models DO work with the Mac. Otherwise look at Mac-specific suppliers like MacWarehouse:-

it seems wideboy may indeed be right. I assumed that as with most hardware, webcams would work on macs too. perhaps not.
