He's off again! OH is off to Spain again, this time with an old male friend. They are going for two weeks. They have booked 2 villas in different towns to have a week in each. Last year he went on his own in Motor Home for a month.
This year he decided the ferry was too dear nearly £900. So they are flying out and hiring a car. This will be a footie and any other sport free house for 2 weeks hooray.
Only down side is I have to drive them to Bristol Airport (Well he will drive there) I have then to find my way back to FOD. I hate Bristol and its motorways, in fact last week we went to Bristol and went the wrong way coming home, nearly ended up at Weston. So I have to find a way back cross country. Then 2 weeks later I have to find Bristol Airport to pick them up.
But it will be worth it. I love it, it feels like I am on holiday, can eat what and when I want. Go and do anything I want. Don't get me wrong I am alway glad when he comes home. Woo woo.

Lucky you caran, I'm happy if I can get a day off.
I'd tell them to take the train!.........no way would I stress myself out to drive back, and then collect them.........

The problem is there is no direct train service from here, also we are in Forest of Dean, have to travel to Cheltenham to pick up friend then to Airport. Daughter has offered to do it but she has 5 children and I am aware her time is precious. I know I have (must) to do it for my own self esteem, pride, call it what you will.

On a lighter side I have threatened to stay in a hotel in Bristol near the airport until it is time to pick them up, two weeks later at their cost obviously.
Have you got a sat nav?
No real difficulty to navigating Bristol - leave M5 @junction 18(signposted A4 Bristol Airport ..enter Bristol...drive past Bristol City F.C. ..Signpost A38 Bristol Airport...drive on A38 a few miles...and you"re there..
Morning caran.; Zhu has posted what I would. take it easy and it's no problem. Have fun! :o}
