Ladies purses and necessesities

Im always amazed how some folk carry around great big bulging purses around with them. Not with money but wads of credit cards, photos, receipts etc. I actually hate big purses. I prefer just a little clip purse for small change and carry notes and only the credit card Im likely to use that day in a small plastic bank money bag. Leaves much more room in my handbag for other things, like my phone, a small tape measure, a credit card size magnifying glass ( for reading small print on labels when shopping), small screwdriver, address book/diary, safety pins , comb, clean hankie

What necesseties do you carry around ?

I have a reputation for being able to produce whatever is needed from my handbag. OH and I once arrived at a guest house in Cornwall and were given the attic room. It was Easter so of course it was cold, as was the radiator in our room. OH started fiddling with it using car keys and teaspoon. I asked why he didn`t just use a radiator key. "And just who goes on holiday with a radiator key?" he asked. "What size would you like?" I replied, producing three from my handbag.

Used to have the following on my key ring but they were wrecking the lining of my bag tapemeasure, compass, penknife, folding screwdriver set folding scissors, and a spare change purse I'm cutting down gradually although the radiator key thing made me grin I did the same thing when someone at work needed an allan key and I pulled out a full set, I've also carried a jewellers ring gauge for months at a time and a pocket paintbox and brushes and if I am out somewhere fairly wild binoiculars are a must

Centre compartment.
Folding scissors, folding hairbrush/mirror, spear&jackson folding secateurs with integral knife blades/corkscrew/bottle opener/saw in little pochette.
2 cheque books, diary (just for appointments)specs, phone, headphones to listen to radio on phone, mini screwdriver set and a lip balm.
Front compartment
Phone, purse, 2 pens, chapstick, tiny penknife, 3 Werthers, mini perfume atomiser and a stylus.
Rear compartment
2 more Werthers, credit card sized calculaor, neurofen, elastoplasts, slimline torch, 2 doggy bags (one with pic of a cat on it, (well it amused me) foldaway shopper and my Nitromin spray.

OMG I thought I was bad !!! Thanks everyone for an insight into your habits :>) Have just posted on the thread of whats in your drawer. I dont have a drawer but my locker is unbelieveable. I just dread if for some reason I cannot go back to work and they have to empty my locker. How embarassing. Or maybe a random locker search LOL

about every 6 weeks i sort my bag out and have a nice find of lots of loose change

I have a large bag with lots of things I don't use in it. Handy for shopping as can easily fit large milk, loaf of bread etc in it. Takes me ages to find my purse when paying for things. Won't get my purse stolen from my bag by a pick pocket as takes me long enough to find it never mind them.

Believe it or not i am one of these folk with massive bags.

Usually filled with crap which i clear out now and again

Numerous lip glosses and vaseline, always painkillers and tissues and i have a big purse too. Usually squeeze in a makeup bag that i NEVER use, comb, nail and eyelash glue if on a night out! Water, earphones, iphone, random bits of mints and chewing gum lol,perfume and deoderant!

its usually a clutch bag on night out which i CRAM perfume and makeup and money and ID and phone in......x
