Hi, further to my previous thread I took your advice and took my cat to the vet. They are testing his blood, say it could be his teeth (hopefully) otherwise liver or kidneys. If liver or kidney disease, what is the prognosis? Curable? thanks all x
smurf it depends how advanced it is. Liver not as easy to treat as kidneys. I know because a friend had a dog with liver trouble and he went down pretty quickly, but another lady I know whose cat had kidney problems, the cat lived to be 17 on medication. I hope your pet's illness is caught in time.
Thanks for asking, had his teeth cleaned and you wouldn't know he had had an anaesthetic (apart from looking at my bank balance). An absolute nutter jumping about ... he seems fine now, fingers crossed. Hope that was the problem and it wasn't his liver or kidneys.
