I don't like to be a kill joy but I think the Grand National should be banned. Another year and two more horses die and for what.

Trouble here is that National Hunt racing is the raison d'etre for these animals....no racing = no horses.......ergo no jockeys ..etc etc....a multi trillion pound industry goes down the pan. along with thousands of jobs and peoples livelhoods for a few horses....worth it?....maybe.....or maybe not.....depends how you see it,
