I think you mean "anal" itching.....not "rectal" itching.

It has nothing to do with your iron therapy, so keep on with the treatment.

Corticosteroid creams should stop the itching.

There is also the possibility - remotely - that it could be threadworm, which is dead easy to shift with one over-the-counter dose.
