Last year it cost me roughly £1k for surgery and follow up treatment for my wagster following his twisted colon. Well worth it, in my opinion.

I am currently saving for my dream wedding in Malta. It will definitely be worth every penny.
10 euros on a double at the Curragh! The clerk at the Tote window misheard me. I said 'fourteen and twenty' to finish first and second. He heard 'four and twenty'. My choice of horse fourteen finished nowhere. His 'wrong' bet paid out 900 euros. I was about to throw away the ticket when I saw what he'd put and, to my surprise and relief, collected.
Seeing how my kids and grandkids are spread around the world....my best buy was my laptop.....added Skype and can see them all any time I like.....magic!

Nice one, Fred.
The £250 it cost me to go bankrupt some years ago, life has been much simpler since, I'm far less stressed and look after my money much better now.
£1 for a box containing 35 pairs of shoes at an auction. I sold them on Ebay for £497. This paid for me to go to Iceland to see the Northern Lights and a trip to Manchester to see Neil Diamond
£500 on my Dell which I'm on now. I do my banking and shopping on it. Very useful as I work full-time and like free weekends.
Rowan..what happened in Chester Aug 2010 ??
i LOVED my fiat 126 too! light green! stuck the kids in the back, and $7 max for petrol! but it became a money pit!

When I decided to take money out of the bank and buy the sports car I had always wanted since I was 17 ! Family did not believe I was going to go ahead until they saw the red car parked outside. This happened when I was 55, still got it and still love it -----best money ever spent on me :)
A wedding outfit that was quite expensive but I went to 3 weddings in it, where none of the same guests were at each wedding. I was chuffed to bits.

That sounds a bit complex but you know what I mean.
My GHD's have without a doubt made my life easier. And they've lasted me yonks. Well worth the extra on the price tag. And no matter what anyone says, no other straighteners come close to comparing.

I'm hoping to make another similar ish purchase that will also make my life easier. I just need to find £400.
