you can see the lyrid meteor shower from midnight saturday 21/04/2012 till dawn sunday this weekend...

Ooh, how will I know where to look? I'm near Manchester City Centre and with lights and aircraft and such generally it's not a proper clear dark sky. Hoping I can see it though!

have a look on space.com jenna they tell you on there [much better than i can lol]...but i think its just look up in a northely direction to where saturn [the brightest star you can currently see] is...there should be about 15 meteors an hour and if you are lucky even a fireball or 2 according to them that is...
