or just buy the stamps now

or send ecards
or don't bother celebrating
yep, i stocked up when everyone else was queuing for petrol a few weeks ago ...
What about if I send them now, then pop my clogs before Xmas...............money wasted.
Avoid it altogther by simply writing to each of them explaining how you won't be ending Xmas cards this year.
sending even >:-(
I read that there is to be a special price to send christmas cards, not sure how much it will be though.
special price for xmas cards is only for people on low income, which will be us all at this rate!

O_G....This will illustrate how ridiculous Viv and I are.

We have a Teddy Bear named Barty (one of five) and all our friends and family acknowledge that he plays an important part in our lives.

A few years back he sent computer made cards to folk with the following message.:-

"I am dropping you a line with particular regards,
To the fact that, this year, I'm not sending Christmas cards.

Now you may think that I am mean and trying to save,
On postage etc; to have a good rave.

Well, I am not being selfish, so would wish you to know,
That any money saved, to my home charity will go.

So enjoy your Christmas, without hearing from me,
And know that my heart, Bears seasonal greetings for thee."

How more ridiculous can one get than that.....Ron.
You need to have a quiet word with that bear explaining the problem.
Doesn't live in the freezer does he ?
Would Royal Mail still have to have the 'first class' delivery service if they were older prices and not the new ones? (but were first class stamps)
Wouldn't pay them to spend money/time sorting them, so yes, I'd expect so. In any case they sold the stamp at today's prices, they should honour it at today's service level.
I didn’t know that the RM still had a first class service there bl@@dy rubbish around here. We don’t get our mail till 1.30 in the afternoon 
Well that's because they recognise your car Dusty and think your driving so avoid you at all costs.

Thank you Old_Geezer that does make sense that they should honour it.

O_G...Perhaps you are right...I need to have a word with the bug.. bas.... Bear. He and his companions spend too much time watching television and I get bothered at the programmes they watch; too intellectual for me.
