I was just reading Autocar

and I read that the last Rover has left the Longbridge factory to go to a motoring history museum in Warwickshire. What I was wondering - What happens to these cars when they enter such a building - Are they serviced regularly and do they get taken out for a spin once in a blue moon? Surely just sitting there forever more won't do them much good?

It had been left without any servicing, and only moved backwards and forwards 1 foot a day just to stop the tyres getting a flat spot.
We had to go over the car fully to make sure it was all ok.
