Son Hospital Visit, what to expect
I've said on here many times about my 2 year olds behaviour. Hes been referred to the hospital and his appointment next month.
Has anyone been to the hospital for this and what should I expect?
The health visitor did say they'll watch him play. I've been writing up some notes just so I dont forget the more important issues

its the pediatrician he's going to see
that does remind me that my health visitor said they'd see what his concentration was like
i mentioned the diet to the HV and will be bringing this up at the hospital. a friends young boy went hyper with milk but I wasn't wanting to start eliminating foods from his diet till i spoke to the doctor
i'll need to google that article

i thought i'd update you. we got a cancellation and my son has been seen this month
we were in for over and hour and my son was pretty much the same in the hospital as he behaved at home which was good that they could see what i'm dealing with. he was throwing toys 7 foot in the air, there was a lady that was trying to play with him and he tried to poke her in the eyes. he was climbing up on the units, spitting on me... the list goes on but they got a good idea of why i was there
she does think more people need to be involved which i thought was good as i was worried they'd think its just the terrible 2's and i'm being silly. but that was the complete opposite
she wants to refer him for hearing tests, see speach therapists and there was one other person she wanted involved that comes to the hospital every few months. but due my sons tantrum i missed some bits.
she also wants a local behavioural nursery to be involved and she thinks the health visitor should be seeing him more.

i told the MIL whats been going on and how our son has been referred to the hospital.
i think she thinks i'm maybe being silly. she said all kids have tantrums. i just replied by saying if the hospital just thought it was terrible 2's or just a boy thing i don't think they'd be referring him to 4 different people to begin with.
