You have to get it prescribed by a local doctor, you can't stay on with your UK GP because you will be too far away for the GP to be responsible for you. You will also need local specialist diabetes support.

Not from a British GP. You would have to see a doctor in the country you move to.

Yes, but depending upon your status e.g pensioner you will have to pay for them and as daffy says, it would have to be a doctor registered in the country to which you were going.

I was looking at getting insulin pump but over in new Zealand it is £200 a month for the supplies for it as it is not funded. I also don't know if that will affect my eligibility to be granted as a resident if I did have one.
