Just thought I would ask if anyone else has had problems when asleep.?

I know from my husband I snore.......a lot and loudly.! But sometimes I wake up feeling like I cannot breath and cough which makes me breath again.? Then I cough for a while before the feeling goes away. Has anyone else ever had this or would you know what causes it.? Many thanks x
