1 megabyte is tiny - you'd be lucky to get any pictures on it at all.

If you mean 1 gigabyte then you may get around 200 pictures on it (depends on the quality and size settings you choose)
Are you sure that your SD card is only 1Mb, as this is no longer a usable size of SD card... 1Gb would be about the smallest commercially available SD card size, but even that size is basically defunct. However, here's a chart of photos/SD card/photos

If you REALLY mean 1Mb SD card - then I suspect vvv few. Sorry :-((
Even if it's 1GB forget about it and buy a decent card, a 12MP camera is likely to be at least a few hundred quid, go the extra little bit and buy a worthwhile card!

The problem with a 1GB card is it's going to be a very old and therefore slow card, quite apart from only being able to fit a fairly small amount of pictures on it it's going to take a long time to write each picture to the card.

Oh to answer the actual question, assuming it's a 1GB card, about 200pictures (which isn't as much as it sounds, it's easy to take that many on a holiday or even a weekend)

If it's a 1MB card then about 1/6 of a picture!
