Help! My husband has been recommended for a waiver of ineligibility today. The email says processing is a minimum of 16 weeks, we fly in 8 weeks. Has anyone had theirs processed recently and how long did they wait? Thanks

Same in 2009 it was even quicker got a response after a weeks and some days......
I have just applied again a couple of weeks ago I was told 20 to 22 weeks processing time, I am crossing my fingers and hoping for the best as I am due to travel on Friday. Good luck and all the best.

I have rang the embassy, you cannot track this at all once the waiver of ineligibility has been referred to the dept of homeland security in US it's just a waiting game. Not good at all but I was told it could still come through in time as the conviction was not serious, community service only, and it was years ago. I will continue to post updates as it may help others. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
An update and a word of warning to anyone applying for a us visa. The embassy in Belfast emailed me today, wait times are increasing if you have to be referred for a waiver of ineligibility and are currently 18 weeks minimum. They have said we have no chance of hubbies visa coming through in time for holiday in 4 weeks time. You can do absolutely nothing to speed the process up, now my 11 yr old and I have to go on our dream holiday without hubbie - I am devastated
